Product Details
1. HD CMOS Detector
The uMammo 890i uses a 49.5 μm high-definition CMOS detector with 10.1 lp/mm spatial resolution. Its on-pixel amplification and optimized crystal structure are designed to improve small-lesion visibility while maintaining dose efficiency.
2. Dual-Angle Tomosynthesis
The system provides 15° and 40° DBT modes.
· 15°: Faster, lower-dose screening with improved visualization of calcifications.
· 40°: 21 low-dose projections for more detailed visualization of lesions at different depths.
This dual-angle design allows users to select the appropriate mode for screening or diagnostic examinations.
3. uDose Intelligent Dose Control
uDose Full-panel AEC evaluates the entire breast glandular area before exposure rather than relying on limited sampling areas. This helps calculate exposure more accurately across different breast densities.
4. U-View Synthesized 2D Imaging
The system can generate synthesized 2D images from a 3D tomosynthesis acquisition, reducing the need for an additional conventional 2D exposure and helping streamline the examination workflow.
5. AI-Assisted Diagnosis
The AI-assisted workflow can support breast density classification, lesion analysis and report generation. United Imaging notes that this feature is not commercially available in all countries and remains subject to local regulatory requirements.
6. Contrast-Enhanced Mammography
The uMammo 890i supports Contrast-Enhanced Mammography (CEM). United Imaging states that a CEM examination can be completed in approximately 7 minutes, providing an alternative imaging option for certain patients who may not be suitable for MRI.
7. uStereo Biopsy
The uStereo biopsy system uses stereoscopic imaging and visualized needle guidance to calculate lesion coordinates and assist needle positioning. The stated target accuracy is ±1 mm.
8. Patient-Centered Design
Intelligent Adaptive Compression automatically stops compression at the appropriate point and releases the breast after exposure. One-touch positioning, a breathing indicator light and curved armrest are designed to simplify operation and improve patient comfort.
